Keiki Urgent Care is Hawai’i’s only urgent care dedicated to caring for pediatric patients.

We serve as a bridge of care for community pediatricians and their patients, providing exceptional after-hours and weekend medical care when most offices are closed.

Schedule a Visit

To minimize your wait time, please make an appointment. We do accept walk-in visits. However, priority will be given to patients with appointments.

Telehealth visits are also available Wednesday through Friday from 2pm – 5pm and additionally by request.

Please note that our scheduling calendar is set to Hawaii standard time. If you have traveled outside of Hawaii, your phone may be set to a different time zone and booking hours will not reflect Hawaii standard time.

You are required to complete the patient registration forms, telehealth consent form and download the KUC Spruce app at the time of booking your appointment. Please note that you must be physically located in Hawai`i to participate in telehealth visits.

If you are experiencing a life threatening emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

For your convenience, our providers offer telehealth visits when our office is closed, please see our office hours for details. Telehealth visits are also available outside of listed hours by request.

Otherwise, if you think that you may require medical attention, please call your pediatrician or go to the nearest emergency room.

You are required to complete the new patient intake forms and the telehealth consent form prior to starting your visit. You will also need to download the Spruce app.

You are required to complete the new patient forms at the time you make your appointment.
1. Patient Intake PacketComplete this set of forms when a new patient is seeing us for an in-person or telehealth visit.
2. Telehealth & Procedure Consent FormComplete this form before a telehealth appointment.
3. Get the Spruce Messaging AppBecause we value convenient communication with our families, we use Spruce, a secure HIPAA-compliant mobile app that allows you to message us in a convenient and secure manner.
Advance Beneficiary Notice of Non-CoverageFor patients who have QUEST insurance and are required to pay for a procedure or fee not covered by QUEST.

Imaging & Labs

We DO NOT have imaging (x-ray, CT scan, MRI) capability.
Lab testing within the office is limited to point-of-care testing labs (urine dipsticks, rapid strep testing, COVID, flu, RSV, glucose).
Patients can be referred to nearby labs for more comprehensive lab testing if warranted. Please be aware that the turn around times for outpatient laboratory testing are variable and labs may not result in a timely manner.
If you feel that your child requires imaging or more extensive laboratory testing, please present to KMCWC ER.

If you have any questions about the plans we accept, please call our office. If your insurance coverage has not been verified at the time of check-in, an out-of-pocket fee will be collected. This fee will be reimbursed once your insurance coverage is confirmed.

Your Responsibilities

To know the limits and coverage of your health insurance policy.
To pay any copayments or deductibles at the time of service.
